Open Letter to Bent Luck and William Podmore
Dear Bent and William,
It is funny to me how things work out in life. Looking back, 25 years ago, I found myself led to Mountain Acres, a small country golf club where I spent time playing and reflecting. Little did I know, that experience would set the stage for something much bigger.
Fast forward five years, and I found myself working with a company owned by Jon Wener, the CEO of Canderel. What I didn't initially realize was that Jon was also the owner of Mountain Acres – an expansive 800-acre property nestled among mountains and lakes. During that time, Jon shared his vision for the future development of the land, which included plans for a 36-hole Championship golf course designed by the renowned architect Graham Cooke. The idea of transforming such a beautiful piece of land into something extraordinary seemed so promising.
But now, as I look at what is unfolding before us, I see something altogether better – something new, something that I believe will leave a lasting impact. As we continue to advance, I am reminded of the promise made by God to humanity – the promise of mansions to all. And it is within this promise that my partner, Dr. Subhendu Das, has outlined a vision for our future. His plans include homes of 4,000 square feet for every family – mansions that will reflect the potential and opportunity we have to build a future where everyone thrives.
In my view, we are on the brink of something truly revolutionary. By 2050, it is estimated that the global population will exceed 10 billion people. And in anticipation of this growing need for community and sustainability, I have come to realize that the world will require 10,000 IMAGINE! Global Communities. Each of these communities will have the capacity to support roughly one million people – all living in harmony, with access to luxury, comfort, and opportunities.
The vision for IMAGINE! is about more than just land development; it's about creating a legacy of abundance, sustainability, and prosperity for generations to come. The journey from Mountain Acres to now has been a testament to the power of vision, persistence, and the belief that everything happens for a reason.
Thank you both for being part of this journey. I look forward to what the future holds and the chance to continue building something remarkable together.
All my love,
Ross
