Dear Friends and Neighbours,
I’m reaching out today with a heartfelt concern that touches far too many lives in our beloved community: the growing problem of food insufficiency.
With the rising costs of housing, groceries, and daily living, many individuals and families living below the poverty line are struggling to afford good, solid meals each day. No one should ever have to choose between paying rent and feeding their children—or themselves.
That’s why I am making it my mission to tackle this issue head-on.
My vision is simple yet powerful: to establish a network throughout NDG and our surrounding communities where, every day of the week, at both lunch and dinner, there is a place for anyone in need to receive a free or very low-cost meal.
This isn’t something I can do alone.
I plan to approach private residents, businesses, community organizations, and all levels of government to work together on this critical initiative.
If we unite our efforts, we can create a lasting impact—providing dignity, nourishment, and hope to every member of our community.
I invite you to join me. Whether through volunteering, donating, offering a space, sponsoring meals, or simply spreading the word, every contribution will bring us one step closer to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.
Together, we can make NDG a shining example of what true community looks like: neighbours doing good, standing strong for one another, and making sure that no one is left behind.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I look forward to working side by side with you all to create a stronger, kinder, and more nourishing community.
With hope and determination,
